1979 -1989
The first decade of the Lancaster Community Players, and all of the elements seem to be in place. A core group of actors and actresses, many of them still with us today. Original screenplays inbetween our off-Broadway shows.
1990 – 1999
It may be hard to believe, but it wasn’t until our second decade that the Grantland Theatre became our permanent home. We greet our second 10 years with the largest lineup of plays we have ever taken on.
2000 – 2009
The Producers, Godspell, Escanaba in Da Moonlight – there wasn’t a play or musical that was too big for us in our third decade. We also continue to pay tribute to our local stars during Nelson Dewey Days.
2010 – 2019
Our fourth decade featuring comedy, the deep thoughts of Thoreau, and more comedy.
2020 – present
After the first few years away because of the coronavirus pandemic, we started back in 2023
