
The Lancaster Community Players are excited to announce auditions for the fall production of Failure: A Love Story by acclaimed playwright Philip Dawkins. Directed by Jimmy Whitcomb, the production will take the stage at the historic Grantland Theatre on October 16, 17, and 18.
Community members of all experience levels are encouraged to audition. Auditions will be held:
● Monday, July 27th, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Lancaster City Chambers, 3rd Floor. (Please enter on the Cherry Street side of City Hall.)
● Tuesday, July 28th, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Lancaster City Chambers, 3rd Floor. (Please enter on the Cherry Street side of City Hall.)
Those interested in auditioning may pick up scripts beginning Monday, July 20, at Schreiner Memorial Library in Lancaster. Reading the script in advance is encouraged but not required.
Set in a small town in 1928, Failure: A Love Story is a whimsical and heartfelt tale of the three Fail sisters whose lives and loves intertwine in unexpected ways. Filled with humor, romance, and a touch of magical storytelling, the play celebrates the beauty of life, loss, and human connection.
