Playwright, Alex Dennison is left heartbroken when his leading lady, and fiancée, Monica Welles is found dead of an apparent suicide, after opening night. On the anniversary of her death, he gathers the same cast and crew from that ill-fated night to read through his new mystery. Alex hopes through this to learn the truth of what happened to Monica.
