Rehearsals are underway

The Lancaster Community Players are excited to announce that rehearsals are officially underway for their fall production of Failure: A Love Story by acclaimed playwright Philip Dawkins. Directed by Jimmy Whitcomb, the production will take the stage at the historic Grantland Theatre on October 16, 17, and 18.

With auditions complete and rehearsals now in full swing, the cast is bringing this whimsical and heartfelt story to life. Set in Chicago in 1928, Failure: A Love Story follows the three Fail sisters as their lives and loves intertwine in unexpected ways. Filled with humor, romance, and a touch of magical storytelling, the play celebrates the beauty of life, loss, and human connection.

Joining the principal cast is an ensemble of performers taking on a delightful assortment of characters, and even a few unexpected roles:

Now that rehearsals have begun, the cast and creative team are preparing for a production filled with laughter, romance, music, and the bittersweet moments that make Failure: A Love Story so memorable.
